Using my experiences with some programs I have either recently joined, or have recently launched I want to demonstrate Team Working in action. In later posts we will be looking at the companies mentioned in more depth and showing you why you should join us.

For quite some time I have been part of another Team Working Group, but recently the aims of it changed and didn’t fit in with what I was doing. I am still a member of it and contribute and use what fits in with my vision of where I should be going. While I was part of it I was introduced to one the Teams I am now part of whose aims and vision better fits my own.

The initial program I joined was Fortune 5 Minutes. This is an umbrella company owned by Rick Mathews, who asks who sent you to the site and tells you to subscribe under them. I knew who mine was because the person who introduced me to it also insisted on maintaining sponsorship integrity.

Which reinforces the above lesson i.e. people do join Teams, but their vision, aims, etc change and they no longer wish to be part of it. And this has happened to me. I have contacted him and been told he is no longer interested.

This is a problem, says Carl Haavaldsen, but the solution has been built into the new program, Global Communication Team Resources. The owner is Ben Davis. who is one of the people in my upline, another is Nigel Bond

Team Work is practiced within these programs, but it is also practiced by the programs themselves as they have got together with each other and with other programs. Among the other programs Fortune 5 Minutes (F5M) has partnered with is Lead Generating Tool (LGT).

Let us look at each of these programs in turn starting with Global Communication Team Resources.

The first question you have to answer is: Would I do this if I wasn’t getting any money for it? Then ask yourself what really interests you. Is it your health, living naturally, ensuring, as far as possible, that your food doesn’t travel too far before it reaches you, that it is healthy, etc.

You might be passionate about a sport, be it football, cricket, golf and want to pass on your expertise about them. You might have a hobby, such a piano playing, knitting, basket making. You don’t have to sell these things it is much easier to provide information on them.

You are no doubt thinking you wouldn’t know were to start getting this information. If you are you are ignoring the fact that the Internet is “The Information Super Highway” and all you have to do is search for what you want. It is also the Age of Private Label Rights. When you join us you will be told where to find the information and receive training on how to use it.

Once you have decided what you want to concentrate on you will want to know where to host your web site, which autoresponder to use, etc. This is the subject of the next post.

You have just retired or about to do so and want to enjoy your retirement? You are not in that age group but want to plan for when you are? You are concerned about your financial situation? You don’t or won’t have a pension? You want to “Make Money At Home?” Only a few years ago you had to live with this situation, but not any longer.

This is the Age of the Internet and you can make money on it if you are given the right information on how to do so.

Because you are “Home Alone” much of the time you might also wish to meet other people. It is nice to have others to talk to hearing what they have achieved and sharing your own success.

You won’t be into Internet Marketing long before you are told that the first thing you must do is:

BUILD YOUR LIST

You are no doubt asking yourself “How do I do that?”

There are 3 strands:

1. Somewhere to Advertise. If you don’t advertise no one knows that you, your web site, or program you are promoting (be it your own or someone else’s) exists. Some forms of advertising are public in that everyone can use them and some that are “private”, i.e. you and those you are advertising to have to sign up and belong to the program. The private ones operate on the principle that those who have signed up agree to receive emails from each other. More will be said on this in another post.

2. A means to get the name and email address from those who visit your site, or blog. These are called Lead Capture/Squeeze Page. They are only 1 page which tells those who access them what is on offer and provide a form for people to fill in. Which brings us to:

3. An autoresponder where the information they give is stored and from where messages are sent out to them on a regular basis.

Before doing anything else you need to decide what it is that you want to promote. Ask yourself what it is you know a lot about, what you are passionate about, etc and then do some research to see if others are interested in these things. You may not wish to concentrate on a single subject, be it hobbies, health, internet marketing, etc, but on a specific group of people, i.e. those who have retired, live in certain part of the world, wish to travel, etc.

Once you have established what it is you want to promote you will have to get a domain name reflecting it and somewhere to host the blog, web site, etc that you will make.

And also an autoresponder.

You can get somewhere to host your web site, blog an autoresponder and everything else you need as seperate items, you can also get them as an integrated package with everything else you need to run a successful Home Based Business. No one can know everything about any topic and we all need each other. More and more people are joining the internet business and you can get yourself lost in the crowd. But against this more business are reaching out to those who have just started, are floundering around and not knowing how to proceed, etc. How they have done this is by setting up conference rooms and inviting people to come to them for training, help etc. Others use Skype in the same way. Due to joining those who have utilized these resources I have friends from all around the world.
